Biography

Called to the Bar in 2017, Jodi practices in Winnipeg and surrounding areas as an associate at WRMG Law. She practices primarily in the areas of child protection and criminal law. She has appeared as counsel before the Manitoba Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench

As part of her child protection practice, Jodi represents parents in child protection matters with the goal of reunifying families. She has been successful in contesting CFS apprehensions, and also acts for clients who are seeking Guardianship of a child

Jodi graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts in 2007. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Juris Doctor degree. She then articled with Legal Aid Manitoba. Following her call to the bar, she practiced as an associate at Kavanagh Wood Law Corporation. She then joined WRMG Law as an associate in 2018, where she continues to practice.

Jodi is a member of the Law Society of Manitoba and the Manitoba Criminal Defence Lawyers of Association. She has also been a moderator and presenter at the Criminal Defence Law Conference.
